The process by which this is done varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, but the end goal is the same: to create an environmentally-friendly way of producing new cartridges that work just as well and pass quality assurance standards from old and used ones. If more people and institutions join the cause, we would have greater chances of reducing waste and pollution in the environment.
